Lakrids frozen mint milk chocolate liquorice balls are a Scandi take on the much-loved After Eights. A creamy milk chocolate coating encases the sweet, chewy liquorice, with a hint of peppermint running throughout. A snowy, sugar shell makes these liquorice balls a festive treat. 

About Lakrids

Lakrids liquorice comes all the way from one of the finest liquorice producers in Denmark, the home of liquorice. In 2007, Lakrids started as the dream of Johan Bülow, who didn’t understand why liquorice was so rarely blended with other flavours. Nor why liquorice had traditionally been made using wheat flour, instead of a gluten free flour. It turns out that both are very difficult! 

But with much trial and error, Johan Bülow started to produce some of the finest liquorice in the world. Lakrids liquorice is only made with gluten free rice flour, and he treats liquorice as a spice – one which enhances and perfectly complements other flavours.

Ingredients: 55% milk chocolate (EU) (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, cocoa mass, emulsifiers(soy lecithin, lecithin), natural flavour), 18% sugar (EU), rice flour, invert sugar syrup, molasses, glucose syrup, 1% raw liquorice (non-EU), glazing agents (gum arabic, shellac, carnauba wax), rapeseed oil, salt, stabilizer:  gum arabic, natural flavours, colour: calcium carbonate. Minimum 34% cocoa solids. Milk solids: 18%. Gluten free.
