Mayata Chocolate Chip Cookies

This recipe was made by our friends at Mayata Chocolate.

Ingredients 

  • 180g Butter
  • 190g Brown sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 250g Plain flour
  • 4g dry yeast
  • 200g chopped nuts
  • 250g chocolate drops

 Method

  1. Soften the butter and add the brown sugar. Blend the mixture.
  2. Stir in the egg, then the sifted flour and baking powder. Add the chocolate chips and nuts.
  3. Shape into long rolls of roughly 5cm thickness and freeze to harden.
  4. Cut into slices of about 1/2cm. Place on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
  5. Bake at 160°C for about 15 minutes. Leave to cool. Enjoy!
