Casale Le Marmore Pearled Farro, 400g

Description

Casale Le Marmore’s farro is pearled, which means the outer husk has been removed. Also known as spelt in English, it is the Trticum dicoccum grain, which has been cultivated in Umbria for hundreds of years, and is one of the most valuable products of central Italy.

The farro cooks in just 20 minutes and you don’t need to soak the grains before cooking. Serve nutty spelt grains like rice or barley, as a base for Italian stews or in soups.

Casale Le Marmore is based in the green heart of Umbria. The company farms lentils, chickpeas, barley and other grains that have been drenched in the Italian sunshine.

Ingredients: pearled farro (wheat).
