Description
Serve ABC+ sardines in brava sauce with crusty bread and a glass of wine. They’re delicious eaten straight from the tin or heated through on the hob. Caught off the coast of Portugal, the small sardines have a wonderful briny flavour, in a richly spiced sauce.
The sauce is inspired by the popular tapas dish, patatas bravas. It’s made with red peppers, garlic and Portuguese olive oil. Chilli adds a hint of spice that complements the canned sardines.
ABC+ sardines are packed by hand and prepared using traditional methods. You can enjoy them on their own or serve with rice or lentils. For a quick snack, warm them up and pile them on toast. Add a squeeze of lemon and some chopped parsley, if you’re feeling fancy.
These sardines were named Best New Seafood Product by the Speciality Food Association in 2023. They’re a gourmet treat for any tinned fish connoisseur.
