Black Vinegar Jelly With Dashi, 140g

Description

Black vinegar jelly with dashi is a deeply flavoured condiment. Serve it straight from the jar alongside grilled mackerel and poached egg. Use it a little like redcurrant jelly to enrich sauces and glazes. Or serve it over ramen with roast pork and noodles.

The black vinegar jelly is sharp, salty and has umami depth from bonito and kombu. The bonito comes from Makurazaki, a city renowned for its high quality dried bonito. 

Ingredients: Rice black vinegar (25,7%), sugar (18,86%), soy sauce (13,76%), dried bonito (1,51%), mirin (1,04%), kombu (0,76%), agar (0,67%).
