Broad Bean Threads, 180g

Description

Broad bean threads are transparent noodles made from mung bean starch. They are also known as glass or cellophane noodles. These bean threads have a flat, wide shape similar to pad Thai noodles.

To cook the noodles, boil in water for 15-20 minutes. Once cooked, they have a slippery and slightly chewy texture. They will soak up the flavours of your soup or stir fry sauce.

Bean thread noodles are virtually fat free - ideal for health conscious cooks. You add them to Chinese hot pots or use them to make noodle salads. Served chilled with a tangy Asian dressing, they’re perfect for hot summer days. Top them with prawns, bean sprouts and crushed peanuts.

Ingredients: Mung bean starch (100%).
