Casa Marrazzo Sun Dried Tomatoes in Oil, 1 Litre
Description
With Casa Marrazzo’s sun-dried tomatoes in oil, you can enjoy the flavours of an Italian summer all year round.
The tomatoes are harvested once ripe, then sprinkled with salt and left to dry in the sun. Their intense flavour and bright acidity works particularly well in pesto, pasta salads, focaccia and puff pastry tarts. You can also chop the sweet, dried tomatoes to make a flavoured butter for cooking fish or spreading on toasted bread.
Try sautéing sun-dried tomatoes with garlic and shallots, before adding a splash of white wine, cream and chopped basil. This Italian-inspired cream sauce is wonderful with chicken, salmon and homemade gnocchi.
