Chestnut honey is a dark, treacle-brown honey with bitter-sweet, almost savoury flavours. It has complex, rich, smoky aromas with a rich, nutty taste and long finish.

Serve the chestnut honey on a cheeseboard with gorgonzola, pecorino and walnuts, or use to bring a touch of complex sweetness to a chicory, pear and parmesan salad.
