Cool Chile Co’s Maya hot chocolate is delicately spiced with a rich, smooth chocolate flavour. Combined with hot milk, it creates a warming, indulgent beverage that will relax and revive - especially on a cold winter evening.

Cool Chile Co makes their hot chocolate with Tabasqueño beans grown in the Selva Zoque in Southern Mexico. These fruity cacao beans are combined with ancho chilli for gentle heat and dried fruit flavours. Allspice berries add a hint of cinnamon and clove, while annatto seeds impact earthy notes and a warm, reddish colour. The complex flavour and subtle hint of spice will delight any hot chocolate lover.

This cacao is sourced by Agrofloresta, an organisation that conserves cacao, preserves cultures, supports farmers and protects animals and rainforests. The lever tins are recyclable in household bins.

How to serve Maya hot chocolate:

Heat 200ml of milk in a saucepan over medium heat, stir in 3 tbsp (30g) of Maya hot chocolate. Stir until the chocolate has melted, then continue heating until hot but not boiling. Whisk until frothy just before pouring.
