Absinthe des Poètes 65° is a vibrant green, herbal liqueur made using traditional methods that date back to the 1700s. It has a complex, intense flavour often compared to aniseed and black licorice. It became popular amongst poets and artists in late 19th and early 20th century France and was said to fuel their creativity.

Produced by Distillerie du Perigord, this premium absinthe is obtained from the maceration and distillation of the Petite and Great Absinthes. It is limited edition and each bottle has its own serial number, making it a unique addition to any liquor collection.

Absinthe is traditionally served by slowly pouring cold water over a sugar cube placed on a spoon above the glass. The sugar water mellows its potent flavour and creates a smoother, more sippable drink. You can also add a measure to Champagne or use it in classic cocktails like the Sazerac or Corpse Reviver No 2.
