Don Antonio Napoletana Sauce, 500g
Description
Don Antonio Napoletana sauce is the quintessential Italian tomato sauce for pasta. It's also called Neapoloitan sauce or Napoli sauce - but in Naples they simply call it 'la salsa' or 'the sauce'.
The Napoletana sauce is packed with sweet cherry tomatoes for a freshly-made flavour. Garlic and basil give a classic Italian taste, while onion, celery and carrot add depth. Serve simply with spaghetti, or pair with meatballs and plenty of Parmesan for a quick Italian supper.
Before use, empty the contents of the bottle into a small saucepan. Heat gently for approximately 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
Don Antonio sauces are made in the Abruzzo region of eastern Italy. The family business uses fresh, local produce and traditional family recipes to make their range of sauces that burst with the flavours of Italy.
Ingredients: pulp of tomato and cherry tomato puree (88%), extra virgin olive oil, onion, carrot, celery, sea salt, basil, garlic, pepper, acidity regulator: citric acid. Allergens are listed in bold. May also contain traces of milk.
Heat for approximately six minutes. Keep refrigerated after opening and consume within 3-4 days.
