Eaten Alive cacao and lime hot sauce is zingy and complex. Its fiery heat comes from a mix of habanero, cayenne and ancho chillies. The chillies are smoked over bourbon barrel chips and fermented slowly for an intense umami flavour.

Preserved lime adds citrus zing, while raw cacao adds notes of bitter chocolate. The result is a spicy, smoky and tangy hot sauce that’s very versatile.

Add a splash to barbecue beans, chilli con carne and pulled pork. This sauce will add smoky depth to all kinds of sauces and marinades. You can serve it with grilled chicken or add it to a cheese toastie.
