Essential Cuisine Fish Stock Mix, 700g

Description

Essential Cuisine fish stock mix gives you the same pungency of fresh fish stock, in powder form. Simply add 16g of dry stock mix to 1 litre of boiling water for a strong stock to add to your sauces, soups, gratins and pies. 

The versatile fish stock mix has been created by chefs, for chefs, and can be used in all sorts of dishes:

  • Ladle the stock into risottos for a strong flavour.
  • Simmer the stock with white beans to make a creamy side dish.
  • Stir the dry mix through your potato mix when making fishcakes.
  • Blend the stock with cream to make a luxurious sauce for poached salmon and pies.

As this stock mix is made from pure white fish, it will have a cloudy appearance when made up as a stock with boiling water. As with fresh fish stock, if you allow your stock to settle, after passing, the sediment will settle to the bottom, creating a clearer stock.
