Fabada Asturiana is a hearty bean stew that originates from Asturias, a region of northwest Spain known for its mountains and rugged coastline. The main ingredient is the braised white beans which are flavoured with garlic and warming spices like paprika. The flavoursome stew also contains Iberian pork belly, chorizo and morcilla (blood sausage).
