Galantino truffle oil adds a touch of luxury to any dish. Produced in Puglia, the cold-pressed olive oil has a rich flavour and intoxicating aroma. Its fruity taste and peppery finish works beautifully with aromatic truffle.

This Italian EVOO is best used as a finishing oil. Drizzle it over beef carpaccio, roast potatoes or even scrambled eggs. The earthy flavour of truffle is fantastic in mushroom dishes. Swirl it over a creamy mushroom risotto or pasta with porcini mushrooms.

Truffle has an intense flavour and aroma, so use it sparingly. A small amount can turn a simple recipe into a restaurant-worthy dish. Add it at the end of cooking, just before serving. It’s wonderful with steak and French fries with Parmesan cheese.

Galantino is based in the town of Bisceglie, Puglia – the region that produces more olives than any other in the world. The medieval town is steeped in history, perched on the Adriatic coast and surrounded by ancient olive groves. Galantino’s oil is renowned for its quality and consistency, and holds protected status (PDO). The family olive mill has been pressing oil since 1926, and is run today by the third generation. All their olives are carefully selected and washed before being crushed on traditional stone mills.
