Grand Rubren Organic Genepi Liqueur from The Alps 40% ABV, 700ml
UK age verified delivery £7
Description
Génépi is a herbal liqueur that originated in the French Alps. It’s made by steeping the flowers of the génépi plant in alcohol. This liqueur has a complex herbal flavour with notes of elderflower and chamomile.
Grand Rubren harvests génépi by hand in the middle of summer. The maceration and distillation process is slow and natural, capturing the flavour of the Alpine plant. Pale green-gold in colour, génépi liqueur is a unique addition to your liquor collection.
Serve génépi liqueur at room temperature or on the rocks. In France, it’s typically served as an after-dinner digestif. You can also mix it with tonic for a longer drink.
Made with organic ingredients, génépi liqueur is a popular après-ski tradition. Sip the herbal tipple in front of the fire after a long day on the slopes. It can also be used in cooking. Grand Rubren recommends using it to flavour fish baked in foil.
