Description
Hatozaki pure malt whisky is a Japanese spirit made in small batches of only 20 casks. Hatozaki pure malt whisky is made of 100% malt whiskies and blended with a 5-year-old single malt. This pure malt ages for several years in casks that previously held bourbon and sherry, plus Japanese Mizunara casks.
The ageing process gives this whisky rich notes of dried fruit and malted cereals with a smoky, honeyed finish. With a rounded mouthfeel and aromatic finish, this whisky is delicious served on the rocks, or sipped neat alongside rice bowls or crackers.
