Himalayan Salt Stone, 30x20cm

Sear and serve in style with this Himalayan salt stone. It can withstand very high temperatures, so it’s great for cooking on the barbecue.

Made from natural rock salt, the block makes a striking serving platter. Chill it in your fridge or freezer to serve cheese, charcuterie or sushi. It adds a subtle salty flavour to your food.

To use the salt stone on the grill or in the oven:

  • Heat the block gradually in 10-15 minute stages until you reach the desired temperature.

  • Pat food dry before placing it on the block.

  • Place it on the block and treat the block like any pan or grilling surface.

  • The block stays hot for around 30 minutes once removed from the heat source.

The pink salt block is a great centrepiece for barbecues and dinner parties.

Caring for your salt block:

  • Gently scrub clean with a soft brush or scouring pad.

  • Wipe with a damp cloth, using as little water as possible.

  • Do not use soap or submerge in water.

  • Pat dry with a paper towel or a clean cloth. Dry for at least 24 hours before using it again.

  • Store in a cool, dry place.
