Japanese White Lychee Binchotan charcoal is a premium quality charcoal with a very high carbon percentage. Free from chemicals, it will burn cleanly and evenly for around 4.5 hours. Unlike  other types of charcoal, it can be relit 2-3 times - perfect for anyone who likes to grill all summer long.

Binchotan charcoal can be used on conventional barbecues and Shichirin tabletop grills.

How to light Binchotan charcoal:

Use a gas burner, which takes about 15 minutes. Alternatively, first make a burning bed of softer charcoal, such as Acacia charcoal. Place the Binchotan coals diagonally on the charcoal bed and let them burn.
