Description

The Laguiole en Aubrac gourmet chef’s knife has an elegant walnut handle. Handmade in France, it’s a chic and hard-wearing addition to your knife collection.

Ideal for all kinds of kitchen tasks, this chef’s knife is a great all-rounder. Use it to dice vegetables, prepare poultry and slice steaks and chops. You can use the flat side of the blade to quickly crush garlic. The pointed tip is great for scoring and precision cutting.

The blade is made from ultra-sharp Sandvik stainless steel. Strong and rust resistant, it delivers a clean cut, every time. It’s strong enough to handle tough ingredients, such as root vegetables.

Laguiole sources their walnut wood from European forests. This type of wood is highly sought after due to its durability and moisture resistance. It has a smooth finish and fine grain pattern.

The gourmet knife collection was created in collaboration with French designer Benjamin Auzier. The handle features the famous Laguiole bee and a small shepherd’s cross.

About Laguiole en Aubrac

Laguiole en Aubrac brought the art of knife-making back to Espalion in the 20th century, creating the highest quality, artisanal stainless steel knives. The original Laguiole knife dates back to 1829, when a simple folding knife became the talk of not only the town, but the whole country, loved for its practicality and elegant, intricate design.

Fast forward to the 21st century and Laguiole en Aubrac are lovingly creating knives once again. All knives are individually hardened by hand; shaping and fitting are done by hand to the craftsman’s eye. Each knife is assembled from start to finish in one sequence and by a single craftsman.

All Laguiole en Aubrac knives come with a lifetime guarantee – they’re a name and knife you can trust.
