LGM Chilli Soup Base for Hotpot, 160g

Description

Use LGM chilli soup base for hotpot to make a spicy, flavourful hotpot to share with friends. This store cupboard shortcut for Chinese hotpot is produced by Lao Gan Ma, the makers of the iconic crispy chilli oil.

The soup base is made with umami-rich soybean oil, chilli, broad beans, salt and spices.

To make your hotpot, add one bag of LGM chilli soup base to 500ml of boiling water or stock. Bring to the boil and simmer for two minutes, then add ingredients such as thinly sliced beef and pork belly, prawns and clams, leafy greens and mushrooms. 

Then add noodles at the end, once the broth has absorbed the flavours of the other ingredients.

The chilli soup base can also be used as a spicy sauce for noodles and stir-fries.
