Maglio’s violet Easter egg is made with creamy white chocolate. It gets its beautiful purple colour from the Okinawan sweet potato. The potato’s purple flesh turns the chocolate a shade of pale lilac. 

Originating from South America, the purple sweet potato was introduced to Japan in the 1600s. Rich in antioxidants, they are an important part of the Okinawan diet to this day.

The potato has a rich, creamy flavour with notes of honey. It adds an earthy undertone to the sweet white chocolate.

Made without additives or food colouring, this Easter egg is a unique delight. It’s presented in a purple box - ideal for gifting or sharing with friends.
