Michele Portoghese Sedani Rigati, 500g

Description

Sedani rigati is a long, tube-shaped pasta. Originating from Naples, it’s slimmer than rigatoni with ridges that trap sauces. It gets its name from the Italian word for celery.

Like penne and rigatoni, sedani rigati is a versatile pasta shape. You can serve it with all kinds of sauces from beef ragu to spicy arrabiata. In autumn, serve the tubular pasta with a sauce made from roasted squash or pumpkin. It’s perfect for pasta bakes, too.

Michele Portoghese uses traditional pasta making methods passed down through generations. Extruded through bronze and slowly dried, their pasta has a slightly rough texture. This helps sauces to cling to the surface, so each bite is as delicious as the last.
