Michele Portoghese Taccozzelle, 500g
Description
Taccozelle is a unique addition to your pasta collection. Native to Tuscany, this pasta is square with frilly edges that trap sauces. It’s also known as tacconi. In Italy, taccozelle is often added to soups with white beans and rosemary.
Serve these pasta squares with fresh pesto or a creamy sausage sauce. It’s also wonderful with wild mushrooms and a drizzle of truffle oil.
Michele Portoghese uses traditional pasta making methods passed down through generations. Extruded through bronze and slowly dried, their pasta has a slightly rough texture. This helps sauces to cling to the surface, so each bite is as delicious as the last.
