Description

Mutti passata is sweet, smooth and velvety. Use it as a base for pasta and pizza sauces, and for making rich ragùs or al forno oven-bakes. The tomatoes in this Italian staple are harvested at their peak, for maximum flavour and colour.

Mutti is a household name in Italy, and has been supplying the country’s homecooks with great quality tomato products for more than 150 years. In 1850 Giovanni Mutti pioneered a large-scale crop rotation method of farming, which allowed the soil to recover between each harvest. Today, the company grows tomatoes across the Italian Emilia Romagna region and produces tinned tomatoes, passata and concentrates.

Storage: Keep in a cool, dry and dark place. Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within 5 days.
