Beetroot powder is a natural red food colour, and brings an intense earthy beet flavour to your day-to-day store-cupboard. Use the pure dried beetroot powder in a similar way to beetroot juice - when you don't want to add extra liquid to your dishes, or just don't want to make a mess juicing your own.
Add to pasta dough or bread flour for a deep beetroot hue, sprinkle over crackers for an instant beetroot kick, dust over bruschetta or roast chicken, or add a teaspoon to give extra intensity to soups and sauces. You can also enjoy the beetroot powder to your own spice mixes and meat rubs - the intense beetroot earthiness beautifully complements beef.
