Netherton Foundry Spun Iron Tawa Pan

Description

Use Netherton Foundry’s spun iron tawa pan to make flatbreads at home. You can cook on the inside and outside of the pan.

You can use a tawa pan like a frying pan or wok. The high sides are great for stir frying. Then, use the domed exterior to make naan, pita and dosa.

This style of pan is used around the world, from India to the Eastern Mediterranean. Impress dinner guests with freshly made rotis to mop up curry sauces.

Made from 99.1% pure iron, the pan is perfect for high heat cooking. It has oak handle covers to protect your hands while you cook. It comes pre-seasoned with flax oil so it’s naturally non-stick.

Use the tawa pan on open fires, wok burners and gas, electric or ceramic hobs.

Not suitable for induction hobs.

About Netherton Foundry

The Netherton Foundry is a family company based in Shropshire – home of the 18th and 19th century ironmasters. Their pans are made from 99.1% pure iron and they use locally sourced materials wherever possible – the oak that makes the pan handles is British, and the flax seasoning oil comes from Sussex. Experienced local craftsmen use traditional manufacturing methods to bring you high quality cookware that gets better over time.
