Description

Payst kra pao sauce is your secret weapon for delicious stir fries. Kra pao is a popular Thai dish made with ground meat and holy basil. It’s served with jasmine rice and a crispy wok-fried egg. 

The sauce combines soy sauce with garlic, ginger and funky fish sauce. Black treacle adds a mellow sweetness to balance the salty ingredients. The flavours are a great match for the refreshing aniseed notes of Thai basil and holy basil.

If you like your stir fries spicy, add a chopped bird’s eye chilli to the wok. Leave the seeds in for a fierce chilli kick!

To make kra pao, stir fry minced chicken or beef in hot oil. Add Payst kra pao sauce and a handful of holy basil. Stir to combine and serve immediately. The spicy, savoury flavours will get your taste buds tingling.
