Sabarot Precooked Polenta, 850g

Description

Sabarot’s pre-cooked polenta is a pantry staple for busy cooks. Quick and easy to prepare, it’s a great accompaniment to many Mediterranean ragus and sauces.

Originating from Italy, polenta is made from finely ground cornmeal. Add butter and Parmesan cheese to make the classic silky smooth side dish. Polenta is a great base for slow-cooked meats like beef cheek or osso buco.

For a comforting supper, serve your polenta with lamb ragu or meatballs in tomato sauce. Add a side of garlicky braised chard and a glass of red wine. Italian indulgence at its finest!

Preparation: Bring 250ml of milk and 250ml of water to the boil. Remove from the heat, add the polenta and whisk vigorously. Return to the heat and cook for five minutes, stirring regularly. The mixture should be smooth and free from lumps.

The pack contains approximately 10 portions.

Store in a cool, dry place.
