Sanuki Dried Udon Noodles, 300g

Description

Sanuki dried udon noodles are a versatile pantry staple. They are made with just four ingredients: wheat flour, water, starch and salt. Once cooked, they have the plump, chewy texture you expect from Japanese udon noodles.

In Japan, udon noodles are served in savoury broths and spicy hot pots. They are also enjoyed cold with a light tsuyu dipping sauce. You can use them to make a chilled noodle salad to enjoy in hot weather.

These noodles take 10-12 minutes to cook in boiling water. They’re ideal for speedy suppers. To make yaki udon (stir-fried noodles), fry minced ginger and garlic in a wok. Add meat or vegetables and, once cooked, add your noodles and a splash of soy sauce.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, store in an airtight container and consume as soon as possible.
