Scandinavian Kruskavel, Lefse Rolling Pin

Description

This hand-crafted rolling pin has a knobbly corrugated design to give Scandinavian crispbreads their unique dimpled appearance. It is also used to make lefse, a traditional Norwegian soft flatbread made with riced potato. Use it at home to make delicious crispbreads from a simple rye dough. Or use it to make the dimples in Swedish oat biscuits, often made for the big smorgasbord at Christmas time.

The rolling pin is made from birch wood and measures 44cm. Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry with a clean towel.
