These colourful Fair Trade candles are hand-poured in Indonesia and made from high quality stearin wax. Stearin is a vegetable origin wax that is a sustainable alternative to paraffin and petroleum. Each candle has a 100% pure cotton wick and will last for up to nine hours, producing almost no soot or smoke as they burn. 

These candles measure 24.5cm tall, and have an 9 hour burn time with a clean, non-drip flame. They are made from stearin wax, ecological dyes and are paraffin free.

About British Colour Standard

First established in the 1930s, British Colour Standard was revived in 2015 by Jackie Piper and Victoria Whitbread after they discovered an old colour dictionary in an Oxfam shop.
