Description

Soybean paste is an essential ingredient in Chinese cuisine. It has a bold umami flavour that adds depth and complexity to your dishes.

Use soybean paste to make classic Sichuan dishes like mapo tofu. It’s great for braised meat dishes with pork belly or ribs.

Soybean paste is also delicious in stir-fries. Mix it with hoisin sauce, sesame oil and Shaoxing wine to make a rich, savoury sauce for noodles.
