Suji Aonori Filaments of Dried Aonori Seaweed, 7g

Description

Suji aonori is a type of edible seaweed from Japan. The aromatic green flakes are used to garnish a wide range of Japanese dishes. You can sprinkle them over soups, yakisoba noodles and okonomiyaki.

Rich in minerals, aonori seaweed has a distinctive salty flavour. You may also detect a hint of truffle. The seaweed is grown on land using seawater and then dried to preserve its freshness.

Use dried aonori seaweed as a garnish for onigiri and Japanese rice dishes. Or, add it to panko breadcrumbs to make a crunchy coating for fried fish. The delicate flavour of seaweed also works well with seafood cooked in butter.

Store in a cool, dry place. Refrigerate after opening.
