Terre Exotique Fleur de Sel with Vanilla, 110g

Description

Season seared scallops with vanilla fleur de sel. Terre Exotique uses vanilla pods from Madagascar to flavour the flaky sea salt. 

The salt has a delicate, briny flavour with notes of sweet vanilla. You can use it in both sweet and savoury recipes. Try sprinkling it over tomato salads and baked cod. It’s particularly good in potato dishes like mash and Dauphinoise.

This unique salt works beautifully with fish and seafood. Use it to season a butter or wine sauce for prawns or monkfish.

Vanilla fleur de sel is also used to balance the sweetness of desserts. Scatter a few flakes over sugar cookies or a chocolate tart. The crystals add crunch and tang to ice cream and fresh fruit.

Terre Exotique sources their fleur de sel from the Ifaty salt flats in Madagascar. It’s harvested by hand to preserve its delicate texture.
