Description

Thiccc Sauce Kong Candy is a sweet, sticky char siu BBQ glaze. It’s a collaboration with Northern street food stars, Kirky’s Chinese. Drizzle it over pork belly or slow-cooked brisket. 

Inspired by the Cantonese pork dish, the sauce is infused with Asian flavours. It’s made with soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce and Chinese five spice. Fermented jalapeños give the sauce a mild chilli kick.

This sweet, sticky glaze is perfect for barbecued meat. Brush it over chicken wings or skewers of beef and pork before barbecuing. You can also use it as a glaze for roasted veg, like broccoli or cauliflower.

Deep red in colour, Kong Candy char siu sauce is rich in umami. Add a splash to a stir fry or bowl of instant ramen. It’s delicious with fries and drizzled over chicken tenders.
