Toledo Mortar

Use this colourful mortar to crush garlic and chillies. Made in Spain, it’s hand-painted in shades of orange and forest green.

The exterior is decorated with traditional designs in white and sunset yellow. The vibrant colours add Mediterranean warmth to your kitchen.

This mortar is great for making marinades and aioli. You can also use it to grind herbs, ginger and toasted nuts. Garlic cloves can be pounded to a smooth paste in seconds. The mortar is much easier to clean than a garlic press.

Toledo tableware is handmade and hand-painted in Spain. The colours and patterns are inspired by traditional ceramics from the regions of Andalusia and Castilla–La Mancha.
