Description
Tortas de aceite are flaky olive oil biscuits that are often served with cheese. These Spanish crackers are lightly salted and flavoured with rosemary and thyme - perfect for snacking on while you enjoy a glass of chilled cava. Top them with hand-carved jamon, black olive pâté or Manchego cheese and membrillo (quince paste).
These biscuits are handmade in Seville by an artisan family of five sisters. They are made with extra virgin olive oil, rather than dairy, and are therefore naturally vegan. Tortas de aceite are said to be a legacy of Spain's Moorish heritage - they are great for dunking in hummus and baba ghanoush!
Each pack contains six individually wrapped biscuits.
Ingredients: Wheat flour, 14% extra virgin olive oil, 10% sunflower oil, yeast, salt, rosemary, thyme and rosemary aroma.
