Unilloy Black Japanese Lightweight Cast Iron Dutch Oven, 22cm

Description

This cast iron Dutch oven is lightweight and very versatile. You can use it for baking, sautéing, braising and slow cooking. Made in Japan, it’s much lighter than the cast iron pans you’re used to.

With a sleek matte finish, this casserole is stylish enough to serve from. Carry it to the table so that guests can help themselves to soup or chilli con carne. Or, embrace its Japanese origins and serve nikujaga - a comforting stew with beef and potatoes.

The underside of the lid is ridged so that steam collects and falls back into the pot. This locks in moisture and flavour while your dish cooks. The pan has a pouring rim designed for drip-free pouring and draining.

This Dutch oven is rust resistant and easy to clean. UNILLOY’s thin but durable iron is half the weight of traditional cast iron. You can move the pan around the hob and lift it in and out of the oven with ease.

UNILLOY cookware is compatible with all stove tops, including gas and induction. The Dutch oven is oven-safe up to 250°C.
