Yeo's Salted Soy Beans, 450g

Description

Use Yeo’s salted soy beans to flavour stir fries and marinades. This Chinese condiment is made from soybeans that are gently fermented to enhance their flavour. 

Widely used in Asian cuisine, salted soy beans have a salty, savoury taste. A small amount will add depth of flavour to stews and braised meat dishes. You can add them to sauces or mix them into dressings for noodle salads. In China, they are often added to sauces for steamed fish and prawns.

Salted soy beans are nutritious and rich in umami. Try frying them with green beans or tenderstem broccoli. Or, pair them with garlic and ginger to make a delicious chicken stir fry. Add a splash of soy sauce and serve with fragrant jasmine rice.
