Ingredients for Lamb Shank Rogan Josh
- 1 Jar Rogan Josh Sauce
- 1 Lamb Shank (300-400g)
- 150ml Water
- Salt to Taste
- Coriander Sprig for Garnish
How to make Lamb Shank Rogan Josh
- Preheat the oven to 180C
- Season the lamb shank with salt and oil.
- Place the shank in a deep ovenproof casserole dish with the Rogan Josh Sauce and water.
- Ensure the dish is covered with lid or foil.
- Cook in the oven for around 2 hours and 30 minutes, or until the meat is cooked and tender.
- Check the meat periodically and if not cooked continue to cook for additional 5-10 minutes. It's ready to be enjoyed once the meat is tender enough to fall off the bone.
- Garnish with coriander sprig.
- Serve with garlic naan, plain roti or Basmati rice.
