Minus 8 Vinegar IP8 Beer, 200ml

Description

IP8 beer vinegar is made with ice wine and IPA-style beer. It’s produced in small batches at the Minus 8 vineyard in Canada. The complex flavour and hoppy aromas will delight any beer drinker.

The amber-coloured vinegar is rich and sweet with lingering acidity. There are notes of roasted barley, brown sugar and pineapple. It’s designed to be used fresh, so there is no oak aging involved.

IP8 beer vinegar adds depth to casseroles and braised meat dishes. Pair it with soy sauce and brown sugar to glaze ribs and chicken wings. Or, add a dash to a beef and ale stew.

Beer vinegar also complements fish and seafood. Use it in marinades and pan sauces for prawns and cod. You can even splash it over fish and chips, like malt vinegar.

IP8 vinegar is delicious in salad dressings. Mix it with olive oil, Dijon mustard, sea salt and black pepper. The sweet, tangy notes are great with leafy greens.

About Minus 8

Minus 8 is a family-owned vineyard in Niagara, Canada. The name refers to the temperature at which the grapes are harvested. They are pressed while still frozen, resulting in a sweet juice known as ice wine. This is then fermented to produce vinegar.

Available in a range of flavours, Minus 8 vinegars make great gifts. You can use them to enhance savoury recipes, desserts and even cocktails.
