Organic capers are a must-have ingredient for homemade tartar sauce. The organic capers are preserved in spirit vinegar, and the sour tang is a great partner for fish and seafood.

Use organic capers in salad dressings and to give a sour-salty lift to herb sauces for lamb and veal. They’re an essential ingredient in pasta puttanesca, a classic spicy and sour Italian pasta dish. Scatter the organic capers over smoked salmon and garnish with a few sprigs of fresh dill for a stunning centrepiece at a buffet.

Capers are the unripe flowers buds of Mediterranean plants called Capparis spinose and Capparis inermis. Once picked, the buds are sun-dried and preserved in brine or vinegar to enhance their lemony, salty flavours.
