Rectangular Stoneware Bread Baking Cloche

Description

KitchenCraft’s rectangular stoneware bread baking cloche makes it incredibly easy to bake perfectly uniform bread, with a thick and crunchy crust. Use the cloche when you prove the bread dough for a second time, allowing the dough to fill the long rectangular base. Once proved, simply place the dough in the cloche in the oven (put the lid on) and bake.

The lid traps steam from the dough as it bakes, stopping a crust forming at first and giving the loaf chance to ‘spring’. Then it maintains an even baking temperature around the whole loaf as it cooks. Turn out a golden loaf with perfect crunchy crust and a light middle.

Microwave and oven safe up to 220°C.
