Description

Red pepper ‘drops’ are small teardrop-shaped peppers. Originally grown in the Peruvian Amazon, they are also known as sweet drop peppers. Their mild, sweet-sour flavour works well in all kinds of Mediterranean dishes.

Scatter these bright red peppers over pizza and leafy green salads. You can bake them into focaccia or add them to pilafs and couscous. The small, tangy peppers are a great addition to cheese and charcuterie boards.

For a quick canapé, spread goat’s cheese on crostini and top with red pepper drops. Or, chop them finely to sprinkle over hummus.

Store in a cool dry place. Once open, refrigerate and consume within 5 days.
