About The Maker: Fabbri

Fabbri was founded in Bologna in 1905 by Gennaro Fabbri, whose preserved Amarena cherries became one of Italy’s most recognisable pantry products. The blue-and-white ceramic jars are now almost as famous as the cherries themselves. More than a century later, the brand still feels deeply tied to Italian café and dessert culture. There’s nostalgia to Fabbri, but it remains genuinely loved rather than simply historic.
