Ingredient Of The Week: Koya Omiyage Chilli Oil
Fire up your food with Koya’s Bitsy Chilli Oil. It’s packed with fiery chilli, cashews and sansho peppercorns. Use it to add heat and crunch to all kinds of dishes.
Koya flavours rapeseed oil with chilli flakes, ginger, garlic and star anise. Sansho peppercorns have a citrus flavour, while cashews and sesame seeds add texture. This oil is beautifully balanced with plenty of chilli heat.
Drizzle chilli oil over fried eggs, smashed potatoes and crispy squid. It’s great with Asian dishes like dumplings and stir fries. For a quick lunch, toss udon noodles with chilli oil and soy sauce. Garnish with spring onions and enjoy each spicy, savoury bite!

Based in Bisceglie, Italy, Galantino's oil holds protected status (PDO). The medieval town is perched on the Adriatic coast and surrounded by ancient olive groves. The family olive mill has been pressing oil since 1926, and is run today by the third generation. All their olives are carefully selected before being crushed on traditional stone mills.

Watching over their company is the oldest olive tree in their grove – a majestic Coratina olive tree that is at least 450 years old and still gives fruit.
