Description

These French Salted Butter Strawberry Caramels are a taste of buttery Brittany! The little Breton sweets are from La Maison d’Armorine, an artisan confectioner in  Quiberon, France. They have a rich, buttery caramel flavour, with a strawberry note running through it.

  • Strawberry with salted-butter caramel flavour
  • Made in Brittany by Maison d’Armorine
  • Cute wooden gift box

The box makes them easy to give. Good after coffee, with a glass of milk, or tucked into a picnic bag for the sweet thing at the end of a meal.

Meet the maker: La Maison d’Armorine

La Maison d’Armorine has been making traditional Breton sweets since 1946, when Yvonne and Raymond Audebert opened their confectionery in Quiberon, a seaside town on France’s Brittany coast. Their first creation was the Niniche, a long caramel lollipop that went on to win recognition as one of France’s finest sweets. Four generations later, the family is still making its famous salted butter caramels, Salidou caramel spreads and other sweet treats using traditional copper pans, fresh butter and Guérande sea salt.

We love La Maison d’Armorine for its wonderful family story, its pride in Breton ingredients and its devotion to traditional confectionery. Nearly 80 years of know-how, with the same care and attention - and very rich butter flavour!
