Description

Kalios Crackers with Carob Flour are made with carob flour mixed into whole wheat flour, with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and dried rosemary. Carob flour gives them that subtle toasted, slightly sweet edge, nothing like your usual plain cracker.

  • 22% carob flour for a toasty, sweet note
  • Made with extra virgin olive oil, not butter
  • Crisp texture, holds up to thick dips
  • Hint of rosemary running through each bite
  • Made in Greece

Set these out with a bowl of tzatziki or some good feta and olives, and watch them disappear first. Good for an aperitif, good alongside a mezze spread, good just on their own with a glass of something cold.

Meet the maker: Kalios

Kalios began with two brothers, a family olive grove and a love of Greek food. In 2010, Grégory and Pierre-Julien Chantzios took over their family's olive groves in Kalamata, southern Greece, where their relatives had been making olive oil for eight generations. After their first harvest, they jumped on scooters and travelled around Paris, persuading chefs to taste their oil. It worked.

Today, Kalios olive oil is found in some of France's finest restaurants, alongside a growing collection of Greek ingredients sourced from small artisan producers. We love Kalios for its wonderful family story, its close relationships with Greek growers and its determination to share the real flavours of Greece. From one family olive grove to the kitchens of celebrated chefs.
