Maglio Chocolate Covered Figs, 250g
Description
Maglio’s chocolate-covered figs are a fruity Italian treat. The recipe has remained the same for decades, passed down through the Maglio family.
The figs are stuffed with almonds and lemon peel. Once steamed, they are covered in dark chocolate. The bittersweet chocolate is a perfect match for the honeyed sweetness of ripe figs.
Produced in southern Italy, these chocolate-covered figs are a lovely edible gift. You can enjoy them on their own or serve them with coffee or ice cream after dinner.
